Heartsaver DVD navigation and menu options have been designed to support the various Heartsaver Portfolio course formats, including Instructor-led and blended learning courses. The Heartsaver DVDs include home menu options that allow the Instructor to easily choose which Heartsaver courses they are teaching, playing each one independently for a variety of course combinations. The DVD set also includes tailored DVD course tracks that incorporate skills, such as choking and an introduction to CPR, if, for example, the Instructor is only teaching the Heartsaver First Aid Course.

Intended Audience:
Heartsaver courses are intended for are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED DVD Set is for use by AHA BLS and Heartsaver Instructors.
