Why did you join Laerdal?

I was impressed with Laerdal's motto, "Helping save lives". This was not just a commercial company seeking incomes and profits, but one with a clear vision and values. This was really the company I wanted to work for.

What is the best thing about working here?

Every time I meet with customers who recognize us as a partner or someone they can trust and work together with, not just a commercial vendor selling products.

Describe a typical day at work

As a country manager (or a managing director), the first thing I do is check various sources of information, then, organizing and attending internal team meetings, approving key projects and expenses, visiting and meeting with customers, setting up sales and expense budgets, planning sales and marketing activities, promoting key and new products, communicating with regional managers, directors and other international networks, attending major conferences (local and international), teleconferences and webinars, making business trips, either domestic or overseas, and so on.
