Laerdal Medical Corporation announces joint initiative to improve quality of medical training
Continuing Education credit now being offered to Nurses and Paramedics
Wappingers Falls, NY, September 7, 2007 – Laerdal Medical Corporation is pleased to announce a joint initiative with the Emergency Medicine Learning and Resource Center (EMLRC) to provide Continuing Education credit for those participating in Laerdal’s Course 100 – Simulator Assembly and Programming. The course is designed to increase a user’s ability to effectively operate patient simulators such as Laerdal® SimMan® and Laerdal® SimBaby™.
Twelve hours of continuing education credit will be given to Nurses and Paramedics attending the course; physician credit is pending. Courses can be taken at the Wappingers Falls, New York or Gatesville, Texas facilities.
