In this course, you will explore the process of integrating simulation into your curriculum. You may be the champion or ‘mover and shaker’ who has been using simulation as a teaching/learning strategy for a while in your course. You may be new to simulation and have been given the assignment to ‘head-up’ the integration into the curriculum. You may be a Dean or Program Director for a nursing program who understands the potential success of using simulation as a teaching/learning strategy and may have funding to support a plan. You may have an interest in integrating simulation into the nursing curriculum. Whatever your interest, the course will discuss the components to consider when developing an integration plan. After completion of this course, you will have the knowledge to develop a successful integration team and plan for your curriculum.

1. Compile a list of components to consider when developing a comprehensive plan for integrating simulation into the curriculum.
2. Determine who should be included in your integration team.
3. Identify curricular gaps and map to potential simulation scenarios.
4. Identify the tasks necessary for successful simulation integration.
