Why make this change?

The following benefits come from training with the addition of ShockLink instead of using a Resusci Anne QCPR D manikin:

  • Train with added realism, in the way that clinical procedures are performed; using a live defibrillator with training pads and not defibrillation studs.
  • It is more cost effective to buy ShockLink with Resusci Anne QCPR AED manikin than Resusci Anne QCPR D manikin.
  • ShockLink is an integrated solution, working effectively with Laerdal LINK Technology and SimPad SkillReporter.

  • For new purchases we recommend the Resusci Anne QCPR AED with ShockLink range, as shown in the table above.

  • We recommend using ShockLink to provide the most effective training experience.

  • These models are unaffected by the change.
  • We recommend purchasing an upgrade kit to convert your product into a Resusci Anne QCPR AED model. All manikins are already compatible with ShockLink however, you can then benefit from the use of Laerdal LINK Technology during training.
