Everything you need to know to get started
If you are new to simulation or need to get up to speed on a new simulator, this course is for you. The Getting Started course introduces you to the basic functions of your simulator. Hands-on activities help your team become familiar with the simulator and how to run standard scenarios. The course includes learning startup and shut down procedures, how to run basic scenarios, patient monitor and instructor device operations, operating modes, and other useful system features.
After the course, you should be ready to start using your simulator for simulation-based education.

This course benefits you the most if you are new to the role of a Simulator Operator or Technician or if you have acquired a new simulator. Understanding the features of the system and how to use the LLEAP software gives you the confidence to know your simulators will be ready for training whenever needed.

After completing the Getting Started Course you will understand the basic functions of your simulator. The next step is the Teaching with Scenarios course. This course focuses on how to use your system with pre-programmed scenarios and how to measure your training for evaluation and debriefing.
