Toimittajiemme kestävien käytäntöjen ja aloitteiden kunnioittaminen

Kestävä kehitys merkitsee meille Laerdalilla paljon, ja haluamme toimia oikein ihmisten ja planeetan hyväksi. Siksi meille on tärkeää tehdä yhteistyötä sellaisten toimittajien kanssa, joilla on samat arvot kuin meillä.

Osana kasvavaa sitoutumistamme aloitimme vuonna 2022 kestävän kehityksen palkinnot, joiden avulla tuomme esiin kumppaneitamme, jotka jakavat tavoitteemme.

Annamme tunnustusta kahdessa kategoriassa: ympäristönsuojelu ja yhteiskuntavastuu.

Ympäristönsuojelun palkinto
Tämä palkinto myönnetään toimittajalle tunnustuksena merkittävistä ympäristötoimista, jotka edistävät ympäristön suojelemista. 

Environmental Protection Award Winner for 2025

HEXPOL was selected as the winner of our 2025 Supplier Sustainability Award for Environmental Protection for their exceptional progress in reducing environmental impact.

As an EcoVadis Gold–rated and ISCC-certified supplier, they significantly support our Scope 3 reductions, backed by a remarkable 95% cut in their own Scope 1 and 2 emissions.

With additional ISO environmental certifications and a strong commitment to sharing best practices through networks and workshops, Hexpol is helping raise the sustainability bar across our value chain.

Social Responsibility Award Winner for 2025

CINIA received our 2025 Supplier Sustainability Award for Social Responsibility for their extraordinary commitment to inclusive employment and community impact.

As a key textile supplier from Mexico, CINIA demonstrates what true social responsibility looks like by operating with a workforce of 1,100 employees, 90% of whom have special needs. Their leadership in creating meaningful, dignified employment opportunities sets a powerful example far beyond traditional CSR efforts.

We are proud to partner with CINIA, whose products are found across much of our portfolio.

Social Responsibility Award Winner

We are proud to recognize Kitron as the recipient of our 2024 Social Responsibility Award. Kitron exemplifies outstanding commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with a focus on human rights, transparency, and gender diversity.

Their global community initiatives include supporting cancer research, advancing education, providing humanitarian aid, and leading local charity projects.

Danhil Containers has been a great partner to Laerdal over several years with focus on optimizing the environmental footprint of our packaging materials. Danhil Containers have a good understanding of their environmental impact and work actively to improve their footprint across their value chain, by focusing on responsible resource use, energy, waste, recycling, and emissions.

Social Responsibility Award Winner

Varta has been our main supplier of batteries since 2014 powering many of our lifesaving products. It is reassuring for Laerdal to know that we can trust that our products are powered by batteries from a supplier that aligns with our own commitment to sustainable practices including the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the OECD Guidelines. Varta has also received the EcoVadis silver medal for their commitment to sustainability and with their focus on the UN SDG’s, we are very much in alignment with our dedication to sustainability.

Producing plastic is an immense challenge for many. However, SP Moulding has embraced the challenge with a comprehensive strategy.

They’re moving toward using 100% renewable energy in global production (a goal to hit by 2030). They have reduced overall emissions through increased usage of recycled plastics.

Lastly, they have implemented transparency measures which provide a clear view of their total environmental and social impact. They invite scrutiny in their usage of energy, water, raw materials, and Greenhouse Gas emissions.

Their platinum rating from EcoVadis along with being active members of the Responsible Business Alliance, further displays their commitment.

Finally, their pledge to teach 1 million people about sustainability embodies the spirit of this award. ATEA’s focus on inclusivity and utilizing technology to reach the SDGs by 2030 sets the standard.
