Changes in this release:
Security Improvements:
- Ability to enable automatic Windows updates for the SimMan simulator.
- The method for gaining remote access to SimMan simulators has changed, administrator account has been replaced by service account. Guidance is provided in Simulator Firmware & Network Wizard.
- Connecting a SimMan simulator to Enterprise Networks, where a username is required to authenticate, will now be done through remoting in to the simulator.
Functionality improvements:
- Added support for live CPR feedback on the Defibrillator Monitor.
- Removed the “Support Documents” beta feature.
Usability improvements:
- Improved handling of .Net updates for SimMan 3G family of simulators.
Compatibility changes
- SimMan Classic is no longer supported (Replaced by 3G family of simulators).
- SimBaby Classic is no longer supported (Replaced by SimBaby Tetherless in 2018) .
To continue using these simulators - do not upgrade and stay on LLEAP version 8.7.0

The Laerdal Patient Monitor software is compatible with LLEAP and SimPad.
Laerdal Patient Monitor software is included when you download LLEAP. This download allows you to install Laerdal Patient Monitor software without installing LLEAP on the same computer.
Changes in this version:
- CPR feedback is available on the LLEAP Defibrillator Monitor for QCPR simulators.
TLS 1.2 for SimMan 3G

TLS 1.2 patch for SimMan 3G using Windows 7
This is only applicable when TLS 1.2 is required, and can be installed on simulators using LLEAP 8.4.0 and later.
Procedyre to install:
- Download file named ”SimMan 3G – TLS Setup 1.2.0.0.exe” and copy to a USB disk.
- Start Simulator and connect to computer with Ethernet cable.
- Remote into simulator.
- Connect USB disk to simulators USB port (might have to remove WiFi adapter).
- Copy file to E: disk on simulator.
- Run the installer on simulator.
- The simulator will now reboot and start installing.
- This can take 10-15 minutes and the simulator may reboot several times during the installation.
- When installation is done, the simulator will say "Simulator ready" and light above power button is then green a few seconds after.
