Field Service Engineers Recognition

Labor Day 2019

Celebrating Our Workforce

The dedication of our employees to our mission and to helping you succeed is what makes us who we are as an organization.

This Labor Day we would like to recognize not only our entire Laerdal Team for the work they do, but also highlight a role that is important to your daily success, our Field Service Engineers (FSEs).

Our FSEs are a factor behind the success of every installation and of every maintenance appointment. They work diligently to ensure that the solutions you buy from us are operating at their highest potential. They carry out our mission of helping save lives by making sure that you are fully functional to meet your training objectives.

Below we have featured just a few of our FSEs. If you have worked with any of them, or any of our other FSEs not featured, we would be grateful if you shared with them that you saw this page.

To our Laerdal Field Service Engineers, thank you! You are instrumental in turning the investments made by our clients into lifesaving training for their learners. Bravo!

When we began compiling this recognition of our FSE team members, we did not plan to highlight one person more than the others. However, one former FSE team leader told us a beautiful story about Marshal Wenong that is worth sharing and celebrating. Read what Marshal’s friend and colleague wrote about him:

“Marshal moved to the United States from Cameroon, Africa to go to the Oklahoma State University for his bachelor’s degree.  His desire has always been to serve in the U.S. military and when he exited college, he joined the Marines. The marine recruiters were puzzled by why he wanted to become a Marine grunt since he had a degree. He told them he was grateful to this country and wanted to serve. He sends money back to the rest of his family in Cameroon.  He is one of the most honorable people I have ever met.

It is an immigrant story.  It is a Laerdal story.  Marshal is an American story.”
