Extended ACF Pad - Venepuncture

A soft pillow fabric strap-on with 3 straight veins, one of All that is pediatric size.

 

  Abilities
• Recognition of the network of veins through palpation • Inserting a needle
• Introduction of a cannula and the use of adhesive

• Management of blood flow
• When connected to a blood reservoir:
• Blood Collection
• use of a Vacutainer or similar product

• The pad is designed to introduce cannulas to 15 cm distally and proximally
• Veins are:
• self sealing for repeated use
• rechargeable via cannula
• supplied with mock blood in 'flash back' pressure
• The pad can be connected to the "Mock Blood Giving" Set 60651 to simulate blood flow
• Delivered in a slip backing plate
• Epidermis is washable with soap and water
