Changes in this release:
Main updates:
- New simulator support: MamaAnne simulator is now supported.
- Security enhancements: Improved connection security (requires simulator updates).
New and improved functionality:
- Improved design of the Instructor Application startup sequence. The user interface - including the session type selector and theme/scenario picker—has been refreshed with a modern look.
- MamaAnne simulator is now fully supported in LLEAP. MamaAnne supports a range of maternity simulations, including pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care. Five new themes covering common use cases are included. MamaAnne is also available as a virtual simulator.
- SimMom improvements. Several enhancements introduced for MamaAnne have also been applied to SimMom, including a birthing timeline, improved boggy uterus and bleeding controls, and the ability to synchronize sounds with contractions.
- New firewall checker provides guidance if parts of the application is blocked by firewall settings.
- Updated visuals for the Simulator and Connection status windows.
- Renamed and slightly reorganized controls for circulation, bleeding, convulsions, and fluids in SimMom and SimMan 3G to improve clarity and usability.
Security Improvements:
- Improved plugin security. Installed plugins must now be reviewed and explicitly enabled before use.

- Removed potential vulnerabilities, and added encryption for all communication channels to SimMan 3G family simulators.
Compatibility:
- This version of LLEAP / Patient Monitor requires:
- SimMan 3G family simulators to be on version 9.0.0.
- All other simulators (link-box based) to be on version 9.2.0/li>

The Laerdal Patient Monitor software is compatible with LLEAP and SimPad.
Laerdal Patient Monitor software is included when you download LLEAP. This download allows you to install Laerdal Patient Monitor software without installing LLEAP on the same computer.

- Requires updated simulators: 9.0.0 for 3G simulators, 9.2.0 for all others

LLEAP and Patient Monitor downloads
- LLEAP 8.6.1 and Patient Monitor 8.6.1 - highest version compatible with windows 7 embedded SimMan simulators.
- LLEAP 7.3.0 and Patient Monitor 7.3.0 - Highest version compatible with windows XP embedded SimMan simulators.

Changes in this release:
- LLEAP.
- If a theme or scenario has media files included, these files will now be visible directly in the Transfer Media dialogue in LLEAP.
- Renaming of SimMan 3G simulators has been made easier by moving it to Customize simulator in the Simulator Firmware & Network Wizard. Previously the user had to select Configure SimMan 3G Network and walk through all the steps to configure WiFi to rename the simulator.
- For SimNewB a checkbox to register that the simulator has been intubated has been added.
- LLEAP can now run on Windows 10 computers where FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard) is enabled. LLEAP has been set to be exempted and is not validated against FIPS requirements
- Bug fixes:
- Fix for an issue where it was not possible to upgrade SimPad to the latest version using the Simulator Firmware and Network Wizard.
- Fix for Stomach “Inflate” that appeared on none suported simulators, only supported by SimJunior.
- Fix for button to disable and enable stomach distention that appeared for unsupported simulators, this button is now only available for SimJunior which has this feature.
- Fix for an issue on SimMan 3G where pacing did not affect the pulse.
- Fix for an error preventing Windows 10 updates to be run on SimMan simulators.
- Fixed an issue where the name for the “No” vocal sound had a misleading name in the French translation.
- Fixed range for Sinus 60 year range, now limited to 20-200.
- Fix for scenarios with Timer, the count down did not work properly.
- Patient Monitor.
- Bug fixes:
- Fix for an issue where the Patient Monitor would reconnect to a simulator during shutdown.
- SP02 can now be turned on from the Patient Monitor.
- Fix for PM sometimes get covered by a box.
- SimMan 3G bug fixes.
- Fix for an issue where SimMan 3G simulators would not connect to open wireless networks.
- Fix for an issue on SimMan 3G where pacing did not affect the pulse .

TLS 1.2 for SimMan 3G

TLS 1.2 patch for SimMan 3G using Windows 7
This is only applicable when TLS 1.2 is required, and can be installed on simulators using LLEAP 8.4.0 and later.
Procedyre to install:
- Download file named ”SimMan 3G – TLS Setup 1.2.0.0.exe” and copy to a USB disk.
- Start Simulator and connect to computer with Ethernet cable.
- Remote into simulator.
- Connect USB disk to simulators USB port (might have to remove WiFi adapter).
- Copy file to E: disk on simulator.
- Run the installer on simulator.
- The simulator will now reboot and start installing.
- This can take 10-15 minutes and the simulator may reboot several times during the installation.
- When installation is done, the simulator will say "Simulator ready" and light above power button is then green a few seconds after.
