World Prematurity Day on November 17th
Preterm birth is the greatest contributor to infant death. About 1 in 10 babies are born too early in the United States each year. The earlier a baby is born, the higher the risk of death. Many babies born too soon may also face serious health challenges or life-long disabilities.
