American Heart Association

Laerdal collaborates with the American Heart Association on large-scale projects including the distribution of more than 1 million CPR Anytime kits to train schoolchildren, HeartCode eSimulation courses, and the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) program.

American Academy of Pediatrics

Our alliance with the AAP has resulted in the development of several simulators designed to support the Newborn Resuscitation Program (NRP), e-learning programs, and the suite of Helping Babies Survive educational modules.

Jhpiego

Jhpiego is a non-profit health organisation affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University. Laerdal Global Health supports Jhpiego in developing and implementing the Helping Mothers Survive Programs.

British Heart Foundation

Laerdal has worked with the British Heart Foundation for over a decade, and formalised their relationship in 2014 with the Nation of Lifesavers initiative. This collaboration aims to ensure that CPR skills are learnt across the nation, through schools, workplaces and in the community and has resulted in over 148,000 of Call Push Rescue Mini Anne CPR kits utilised. Laerdal and the BHF continue to work together to develop programmes and activities to achieve our aligned missions.

National League of Nursing

For over 20 years Laerdal has been the strategic partner of the NLN for patient simulation training for nursing education in the United States.

SAFER

Stavanger Acute medicine Foundation for Education and Research (SAFER) was established in 2005 together with the University of Stavanger, Stavanger University Hospital and Laerdal Medical. In 2020 alone, training activities surpassed 16,500 participant days.

Global Resuscitation Alliance

The Global Resuscitation Alliance (GRA) is a global network of experts focused on collaborating to increase survival from sudden cardiac arrest. The participants commit themselves to the goal of increasing survival rates by 50 percent.

SonoSim

Laerdal and SonoSim partnered to integrate the SonoSim® Ultrasound Training Solution into the Laerdal patient simulator platform, starting with the SimMan family and SimMom. This allows for the use of diagnostic ultrasound featuring real ultrasound cases with pathological findings into full-scale simulations.

Mentice

Laerdal’s  SimMan Vascular is made in cooperation with Mentice, the global leader of simulation-based performance solutions for endovascular therapies.  Their VIST software has been integrated to work with Laerdal’s LLEAP simulation software.

IngMar Medical

Together with Ingmar, Laerdal developed the ASL 5000™ Lung Solution for the SimMan platform. This collaboratively developed solution integrates IngMar Medical's ASL 5000 Breathing Simulator with Laerdal Medical's SimMan 3G, SimMan Essential, SimMan Essential Bleeding, and SimMan 3G Trauma to provide the most realistic ventilation management experience on the market.

For more than 10 years, Laerdal and Limbs & Things has developed products together to enhance clinical training  with a focus on obstetric emergencies. Our company missions are aligned to improve patient outcomes through realistic learning experiences.

Laerdal Medical and Wolters Kluwer have partnered to co-develop the most trusted virtual simulations in nursing education. vSim® for Nursing—integrated into Lippincott® CoursePoint+ prepares nursing students for real-life practice with a learning solution designed to combine expert-validated content, in-depth reporting and innovative technology delivered through an intuitive digital platform.

SimX

Laerdal has partnered with SimX, a leader in virtual reality (VR) medical simulation training, to widen the impact of VR in helping prepare healthcare providers to provide high-quality care. Laerdal is the primary distributor of the SimX virtual reality simulation platform, which is the world's most comprehensive virtual reality medical simulation training platform and home to the most extensive library of VR-simulated patient encounters.
