Specialty Technical Services

Occasionally, a special circumstance arises that requires the support of one of our Field Service Engineers that is not covered under your core maintenance contracts. For these situations, Laerdal offers a set of Specialty Technical Services to help keep your lab and equipment operating at the highest potential.

Multiple Manikin Installations

During this one-day technical service, a Laerdal Field Service Engineer will visit your facility to install up to six of your MegaCode or Nursing manikins. This will include proper setup of your manikins and will prepare you with the baseline knowledge needed to effectively operate them.

 

Non-Warranty Field Repairs

During this one-day technical service, a Laerdal Field Service Engineer will visit your facility to repair any pre-diagnosed issues with your non-warrantied Laerdal simulators or manikins. This will require the technical support team to identify the necessary repair and corresponding parts needed in advance of the Field Service Engineer visit. The cost of the parts is not included in this service and must be ordered separately.

 

Network Support

During this one-day technical service, a Laerdal Field Service Engineer or a Laerdal Network Specialist will visit your facility to offer network support. This service will include help with troubleshooting and finding solutions to difficult wireless or networking situations.

 

On-Site Basic Care and Maintenance Training

During this one-day technical service, a Laerdal Field Service Engineer will visit your facility to perform basic care and maintenance training. During this time you will learn about basic functionality, usage, care and consumable replacements on the simulator or manikin of your choice.

 

Equipment Inspections

During this one-day technical service, a Laerdal Field Service Engineer will visit your facility to perform an inspection of your Laerdal equipment to determine eligibility for extended warranty coverage or identify damage that may be covered by insurance.

 

Non-LLEAP Software Updates

During this one-day technical service, a Laerdal Field Service Engineer will visit your facility to perform any non-LLEAP Laerdal software updates. Software updates can also include the Windows operating system.
