Maintain Warranty Coverage
Extended Warranty programs continue the Standard 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty for your manikin,simulator, or system*. Offered in either one-year or two-year increments, Extended Warranties are available in single year through 5-year terms up to a maximum of seven years*.
Extended Warranty includes
Starts after one full year of ownership
- Per year coverage for Laerdal branded products, Laerdal designed or produced products and Partner Products**
- Materials, manufacturing or workmanship issues
- Return to Bench service only
- Prepaid ground shipping from and back to your facility
Coverage does not include
- Simulator or manikin accessories and 3rd party items/parts (i.e., batteries, cables, clothing, etc.)
- Computers, monitors, and accessories; and non-Laerdal operating software
- Normal wear and tear, stains, cosmetic irregularities
- Misuse or accidental damage
Extended Warranty plans are also available as individual coverage in single and multiple year options. For Partner products, Extended Warranty is purchased separately in one-year increments, up to a total of eight (8) additional years of coverage.
Laerdal offers coverage for a maximum of nine (9) contiguous years: (1) year standard manufacturer warranty plus up to eight (8) years of purchased Extended Warranty. The standard warranty covers the first year of ownership. Products without contiguous coverage may require inspection, evaluation, repair and servicing to restore warranty eligibility. Restoration service is provided at additional cost and prevailing rates. Obselete products may not be eligible for Extended Warranty.
Certified Previously Owned (CPO) units include a one-year manufacturer’s warranty. If the CPO unit type has not been officially phased out and remains serviceable, Laerdal may offer ProTech, Extended Warranty, Loaner, and Preventive Maintenance (PM) a la carte services for up to a total of nine (9) years. Partner products include ASL 5000, VitalsBridge, and Next Generation Harvey.
