Set of wounds for use with female pelvis models for the practice of wound care and assessment skills.
Wounds include:
- Surgical belly plate
- Abdominal plate with interchangeable stoma sites - colostomy, illeostomy and suprapubic cystostomy
- Two blank plugs and one colostomy stoma with through hole, irrigation is possible
- Also serves as a reservoir for urinary catheterization when used with genitalia and connectors
- Thigh packing and irrigation wound
- Wound separation exposing a layer of subcutaneous fat
- Suitable for wet or dry packing and wound irrigation
- Can be interchanged with injection module in manikin's thigh
- Thigh debridement wound
- Mechanical debridement including excision of necrotic tissue
- Devitalized tissue can be removed and reattached with glue
- Interchangeable with injection pad in manikin's thigh
- Ventral gluteal decubitus ulcer
- Reddish and cyanotic blue-gray appearance
- Break in the skin exposing soft tissue
- Interchangeable with ventral gluteal injection pad (female pelvis only)
- Dorsal gluteal decubitus ulcer
- Reddish and cyanotic blue-gray appearance
- Break in the skin exposing soft tissue
- Interchangeable with dorsal gluteal injection pad (female pelvis only)
Includes: 1 Abdominal Module, 2 Thigh Wound Pads, 2 Ventral Gluteal / Dorsal Gluteal Wound Pads, 1 Carry Case and Directions for Use
