Laerdal Accelerate Program
The Laerdal Accelerate Program is an all-in-one solution that provides on-site simulation for targeted clinical scenarios.

Simulation is more than training- it's a catalyst for teamwork, clinical readiness, and continuous improvement. In today’s complex healthcare environments, simulation brings people, technology, and workflows together to solve real problems and drive meaningful change.
Join us at IMSH in booth #401 to meet our experts, experience hands-on demos, participate in live scenario walkthroughs, get exclusive previews, and see how Laerdal is advancing healthcare simulation.
Laerdal Learning Lab
Sunday, January 11 | 9:30am - 10:30am
Location: Room 301B
Presenters: Eva Skarstein & Tor Inge Garvik
Effective healthcare system improvement relies on three essential capabilities: understanding problems, developing solutions, and evaluating impact. This Learning Lab explores how translational simulation supports these capabilities by providing rich, context-specific insights that drive safer, higher-quality care. Participants will engage with AI-powered platforms that support during planning, data capture, and summarizing findings and recommendations from simulation activities. We’ll discuss co-design methods and simulation as a collaborative space to involve staff and patients in co-creation of meaningful change. Attendees will gain practical strategies for using translational simulation to understand work in complex environments, to test planned changes, and to embed change for lasting impact.
Using patient simulation for quality improvement (QI) in healthcare helps teams enhance patient safety, improve clinical decision-making, and reduce the cost of risk.

Simulation supports every step of competency development, from foundational skills to complex clinical decision-making.

Samaritan brings clarity and intelligence to Laerdal’s products by seamlessly integrating the right AI solutions. It simplifies complex tasks, streamlines processes, and acts like a trusted assistant-helping you focus on what matters most: improving patient outcomes.

This flipbook contains a collection of articles that offer insights into how simulation is strengthening quality and competency to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
